My name is Biak Par, a graphic designer based in Indianapolis, IN and currently a senior studying Visual Communication Design at Purdue University.
As a designer, I’m driven by the hope that design can resonate with people and give back to the communities that shape us. I started my journey as an artist focused on portraits, but as I explored the art and design world, I fell in love with graphic design through my interest in music. Album covers, posters, and postcards from my favorite artists sparked my curiosity and ultimately inspired me to pursue this field.
Outside of design, I recharge through small creative rituals, such as crocheting, painting my nails, thrifting for hidden gems, and playing video games. And if there’s one thing everyone knows about me, it’s my devotion to Burmese tea salad with slightly salty cabbage.
Looking ahead, I want to channel my creativity into the entertainment industry, bringing visuals to life in ways that stir emotions and inspire others.
