Problem:
Since 1975, the U.S. has welcomed millions of refugees, however, challenges like low admission caps, lengthy processing times, and cultural adaptation have made resettlement difficult. My website, Hand In Hand, tackles these challenges by providing refugees with essential resources and engaging the local community to take an active role in supporting newcomers.
Audience:
The primary audience includes refugees and immigrants settling in the Indianapolis area. Secondary audiences are volunteers, local community members, and organizations looking to support these newcomers.
