The goal of this project was to redesign the visual design and UX/UI problems of an existing app. I chose to redesign the shopping app, ZARA, a global fast-fashion brand. My project aimed to improve the app’s user experience and visual design. While the app includes essential shopping features like a search bar, cart, and menu, its overly editorial aesthetic and disjointed navigation hinder usability. This redesign focused on balancing style and functionality, creating a more intuitive shopping experience that aligns with ZARA’s brand identity and customer expectations.
Process
Problem:
The ZARA app has overall problems in user experience, navigation, layout, and visual design. The app
leans more on the artistic style choice, however it appears too editorial for a app meant to shop on.
Solution:
App with easy navigation, clear icons, legible text for a smooth user experience. Find a compromise between the editorial side and the user friendly aspect.
